You don’t have to be a Rockefeller to need a trust. After working a lifetime to build an estate, it’s natural to want two things: the right to determine what happens to your assets and the right to protect them from unnecessary estate taxes.  Setting up a trust is an excellent way to control what happens to your estate, regardless of its size, to reduce estate taxes and protect against the expense and aggravation of probate.

Trusts can be confusing, if not down-right intimidating.  That’s because there are so many different types of trusts, with so many different purposes, and with so many different names.  The creation of a trust requires counseling to make sure it is right for you and to make sure you know what to do with the trust.
